Shout out to Adventure is Out There for making a YouTube video about this place. My son and I were heading into Pigeon Forge using the back roads and I knew it was a good time to try it out. I had a huge baked potato with pulled pork, nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream. It was to die for. Green beans are out of this world. The sauces are delicious. I'm only 1 hour away and will gladly make the drive to get this food. They got my vote for best BBQ in the Smokies.

We came here after a hike craving some BBQ. From the outside, the restaurant doesnt look flashy at all. But when you enter, you can already smell how good the food will be. Ordered brisket with fries and and mac n cheese. My girlfriend got the nachos with brisket. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. I was surprised at how busy such a small restaurant was. Would definitely come back here again to try the rest of their menu. It can take a while to get your food, but the wait is worth it.

Yes, go here and eat. It is by far the best BBQ in the state of Tennessee and easily one of the best in the nation. DeLauder's BBQ, a family-owned establishment operated by Denny and Kelli DeLauder since 2015, has established itself as a prominent destination for Eastern Tennessee-style barbecue. Originally operating as a modest, hard-to-locate venue on East Parkway in Gatlinburg, the restaurant garnered national recognition, including a top-ten ranking by YELP, for its authentic smoked meats. If you see a review on YouTube, this is the place. The Gatlinburg location closed at the end of September. Delauder's has since relocated to Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee, where it commenced operations with a soft opening. Go early. Choices matter. Seating is first come, and assigned tables by order number. The menu at the Sevierville location emphasizes hickory-smoked meats prepared fresh in limited daily batches, ensuring tenderness and a pronounced smoke ring without the need of sauce (it's on the table or on the side) due to their choice in excellent meats coupled with a Pitmaster with expertise. 11/1/2025 pricing.... •Platters Pulled Pork Platter (#11): Hickory-smoked pork shoulder, priced at $15.99. This remains a flagship item, delivering juicy, hand-pulled shreds with crisp bark. I had this one today and it was amazing, enough meat for at least three sandwiches and great sides of potato salad and baked beans. Baby Back Ribs (#12): Half-rack at $22.49, upgradable to a full rack for an additional $14.00. The ribs feature a sweet-spicy dry rub, yielding fall-off-the-bone texture. Two-Meat Combo (#13): Selection of pulled pork, ribs, or sausage at $19.39; brisket substitution for one meat adds $3.00. Three-Meat Combo (#14): Pulled pork, ribs, and sausage; brisket substitution adds $2.20. Brisket Dinner (#15): Sliced or cubed prime brisket at $22.39, noted for its melt-in-the-mouth quality and superior smoke penetration. It's all in the quality of the meat(hence the "prime") and in the cooking, you will be amazed. You won't need any sauce to cover for meh meats here. Dinner for Two (#16): Half-rack ribs, 1/2 pound pulled pork, three sides, and two buns at $37.59, ideal for sharing. •Sandwiches and Specialties Pulled Pork Sandwich (#1): Basic version with hickory-smoked pork on a bun at $11.39. Oh baby, it's good! Pulled Pork Sandwich with Slaw (#2): Topped with house-made fresh slaw at $11.89. Brisket Sandwich: Sliced prime brisket on a roll at $14.89. Loaded Baked Potato (#6): Baked potato topped with smoked pork, nacho cheese, lettuce, tomato, green onions, and sour cream at $10.89. Either of these baked potato choices are excellent. This one is a flavor and texture explosion, without the baked beans. Smoky Mountain Potato (#9): Baked potato with smoked pork, baked beans, nacho cheese, and sour cream at $10.79. This one is just amazing for us traditional folk. Delauder's pricing reflects excellent value, with individual sandwiches ranging from $11.39 to $14.89, platters from $15.99 to $22.49, and combo meals providing substantial servings suitable for leftovers. A full meal for two, including platters and sides, typically totals under $40. Plan on going there early as they may run out. Service maintains Delauder's reputation for warm, personalized hospitality, with the staff and the owners engaging patrons conversationally and accommodating regulars. Think Southern BBQ coupled with a fantastic family reunion. If Jojo is at the counter, you'll have an even greater fine BBQ experience. She's great. If Denny comes by while you're eating to check on you, you'll understand why this place is uniquely the best and if you ask the right questions, you'll learn a lot about what it take to make BBQ right and to be the best for your customers. Delauder's is simply must have excellent BBQ and great folk working there coupled with a master BBQ Pitmaster driving the experience. Truly one of a kind.

We were waiting on the new location to open on Dolly Parton pky. They are having a "soft opening " with some things not available. I decided on the ribs and brisket combo. There is a small upcharge for brisket. My wife had a Smoky Mountain potato. A stuffed Potato with puulled pork barbque. Everything was good as I remembered. Fall off the bones rib meat and fork tender brisket. Delicious!! The only sides available was potato salad, baked beans, green beans and slaw. Our favorite side, the fried macaroni and cheese wasn't available and we were told it might not be there in the future. I will really miss this unique and tasty side. The baked beans with bits of pork in them were great. The potato salad was good. We didn't try the other sides. The only downside is there are only four inside tables with sixteen chairs. There is about the same number outside. We will return after they have had time to work out the bumps in the road of a new place

We are visiting Tennessee from the UK and after going to Nashville and being tourists we headed out to the smokies. I was looking for a proper bbq place, not a big chain restaurant and through “adventureisoutthere” on YouTube and other online reviews Delauders kept coming up, so we paid it a visit. I unfortunately didn’t get any names but the lady on the register was really friendly upon entry and I get the impression this is a genuine community favourite more than a tourist hotspot, as there were a lot of take out orders being collected constantly. The food came quickly and there was a slight error on the one side dish being different to what we ordered but no big deal. The bbq itself was excellent, good portion sizes, juicy and flavourful. Highly recommend a visit here

Was very surprised at this little place connected to a closed down gas station. Don't judge a book by its cover. Does look like a storage unit inside but food was delicious! Brisket was really tender and melted in your mouth. Also had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw, bbq smoked chicken wings.
